I thought this part was a bit spendy for a small piece of plastic with a net attached. I mean $30+ seems a bit high. However, I do understand that this is a custom fit part for the JK and they probably don’t manufacture too many of them so the price per unit manufactured probably justifies the retail.
The installation was a breeze. I just took a crow bar and lightly pried the existing plastic piece out. The new part went in like a cinch.
All in all, I am happy with my purchase because it adds to the look of the dash as well as keeps my cell phone/tin/anything else that would normally fly around the cab nicely secured in the netting.
